Tango Holiday in the Haute-Provence
8 to 14 August 2027
A stay combining tango, serenity and conviviality.
We are delighted to offer you, for the second edition, a tango holiday from 8 to 14 August 2027, designed especially for you.
In an exceptional setting in France, come and share your passion during a week rich in dance, encounters and convivial moments: classes, practice sessions, milongas…
This year we are delighted to share this week with Liz and Yannick, a passionate Belgian dancing couple, whose presence enriches and enlarges the group, bringing even more diversity and energy.
A unique opportunity to dance, learn and enjoy a warm and festive stay.
Dance tango in an exceptional setting – a harmony between dance and relaxation

Immerse yourself in a week devoted to dance and wellbeing, in the heart of the Monastère de Ségriès, a place full of history and charm. Located in the Verdon Regional Nature Park, just 6 km from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie – ranked among the most beautiful villages in France – this haven of peace is the ideal place for an unforgettable experience.

Surrounded by authentic gardens where biodiversity is preserved, the monastery offers a soothing natural setting conducive to relaxation.

A week to connect with yourself and with others
The idyllic setting of the monastery, combined with the attentive teaching of Thierry and Véronique and Liz and Yannick, makes this stay a unique opportunity to refine your tango while savouring moments of serenity.

Your half-board stay includes
- 6 nights in a fully comfortable room (private bathroom, bed linen, towels and pool towels provided).
- 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners: carefully prepared cuisine in a warm setting. (Wine, coffee and tea included with meals)
- Access to all facilities: swimming pool, hammocks, gym, pétanque, table tennis, herbal tea room, massage room (massages on request, not included in the package)…
- Daily tango classes: 10 hours spread over 4 days (2 x 75 min/day), in English (French and Dutch if needed).
- Milonga every evening in the monastery’s chapel, with a parquet floor to carry your steps.
- Qi Gong every morning: start the day gently in the park with a traditional Chinese discipline that harmonises body, breath and mind through slow movements, breathing and concentration.
- Convivial moments: welcome drinks on arrival day, delicious meals (starter, main course, dessert).

Good to know
– The number of couples is limited to guarantee quality teaching and an intimate atmosphere.
– Private lessons can be arranged (on request, not included in the package).
The Rooms
The rooms, carefully renovated, reflect the monastery’s distinctive style, where simplicity and elegance combine in a soothing atmosphere. Each has its own character, comfortable bedding and a private bathroom with toilet and shower or bath.
In keeping with the spirit of the place, the rooms cannot be locked from the outside: no keys are used, fostering an atmosphere of trust and simplicity.
True to this philosophy, the rooms have no television, safe or refrigerator. A shared refrigerator, reserved for our group, is nevertheless available for practical needs.

In the kitchen: a festival of Mediterranean flavours
A cuisine inspired by the seasons, rich in Provençal scents and flavours, favouring local produce and short supply chains. The chef and his team prepare varied menus, made mainly with fruit, vegetables and aromatic herbs freshly picked from the monastery’s vegetable garden, greenhouse and orchard.

From garden to plate
The day’s harvest brings a unique authenticity to the culinary creations, enhanced by Mediterranean aromas.
A cuisine for every taste
A varied selection of dishes, including vegetarian options and catering for specific dietary requirements, whilst ensuring a delicious and balanced dining experience.
Immersed in nature
The vegetable garden and the garden invite you to explore the origins of flavours. Discovering the varieties of fruit and vegetables on site adds a sensory dimension even before tasting them.
A culinary experience where nature and local produce come together in perfect harmony.
